Alien Nation (1988)

But now they have begun to slowly integrate into human society and one of these Newcomers even becomes a police officer. Sam Francisco (Patinkin) is unfortunate enough to be assigned a partner who harbours a deep mistrust of Newcomers, Matthew Sykes (Caan). But the tension between them must be set aside as they investigate the Newcomer underworld and their leader William Harcourt (Terence Stamp).
