All the Money in the World (2017)

Directed by Ridley Scott, All the Money in the World stars Michelle Williams as Gail Harris, whose teenage son John Paul Getty III is kidnapped in Rome in 1973. When billionaire J. Paul Getty, played by Christopher Plummer, refuses to pay the ransom, Gail works with former CIA operative Fletcher Chase, played by Mark Wahlberg, to secure her son’s release. Based on John Pearson’s book and the real Getty kidnapping, the crime thriller earned Plummer an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
