Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires (2025)

Directed by Juan Meza-León and featuring the voices of Horacio García Rojas, Omar Chaparro and Álvaro Morte, Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires reimagines Batman in 16th-century Mesoamerica. After his father is killed by Spanish conquistadors, Yohualli Coatl travels to Tenochtitlán to warn King Moctezuma and trains in the temple of the bat god Tzinacan, developing weapons and equipment to resist Hernán Cortés and the invading forces. The animated DC film combines the Batman mythology with Aztec culture and an alternate version of the Spanish conquest.
