Big Ass Spider! (2013)

Directed by Mike Mendez, Big Ass Spider! stars Greg Grunberg as an exterminator who becomes Los Angeles’ unlikely last line of defence when a rapidly growing giant spider escapes and begins tearing through the city. Joined by security guard Jose Ramos and eventually the military, he has to stop the creature before it reaches catastrophic proportions. The film mixes creature horror, science fiction, action and deliberately over-the-top B-movie comedy.
