Blood of the Vampire (1958)

Henry Cass’s Blood of the Vampire (scripted by Jimmy Sangster) blends gothic atmosphere with mad-science horror. Set in a 19th-century Transylvanian prison, a sadistic doctor conducts forbidden experiments that blur the line between life and death. Though not a Hammer production, it channels the same era’s lurid color style and Victorian chills.
