Body of Lies (2008)

Directed by Ridley Scott, Body of Lies stars Leonardo DiCaprio as CIA operative Roger Ferris, who works with Jordanian intelligence to locate the leader of an international terrorist network. Russell Crowe plays Ferris’s remote superior Ed Hoffman, whose reliance on surveillance technology and secret interventions repeatedly threatens the operation and Ferris’s relationship with intelligence chief Hani Salaam, played by Mark Strong. Based on David Ignatius’s book, the film combines espionage, counterterrorism and political intrigue across Iraq, Jordan and Europe.
