Breakout is a 1975 American action film directed by Tom Gries and starring Charles Bronson and Robert Duvall. The story follows a pilot hired to rescue an imprisoned man from a Mexican jail using a helicopter. Inspired by real events, the film centers on a daring cross-border escape operation and the obstacles surrounding it.
