Created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons is a British Supermarionation TV series about Spectrum and its conflict with the Mysterons. Francis Matthews, Ed Bishop, Donald Gray and Cy Grant lead the voice cast in a futuristic sci-fi action series built around secret military operations, alien threat, advanced vehicles and Captain Scarlet’s indestructible powers. The series combines 1960s British puppet-based model effects with Gerry Anderson’s darker, more militarised follow-up to Thunderbirds.
