Casino Royale (2006)

Directed by Martin Campbell, Casino Royale introduces Daniel Craig as James Bond in a harder reboot of the official 007 series. Eva Green stars as Vesper Lynd, with Mads Mikkelsen as Le Chiffre and Judi Dench returning as M in a spy thriller built around terrorism financing, high-stakes poker and Bond’s first major emotional test as a double-0 agent.
