Directed by André Øvredal, The Last Voyage of the Demeter expands a chapter from Bram Stoker’s Dracula into a contained horror story set aboard a doomed merchant ship traveling from Transylvania to England. The film combines gothic atmosphere, creature horror and survival-driven tension as the crew is stalked by Dracula during the isolated sea voyage.
