Directed by Joe Johnston and based on the comic book character created by Dave Stevens, The Rocketeer stars Billy Campbell and Jennifer Connelly in a retro-styled adventure set in 1930s Hollywood. The film follows a stunt pilot who discovers an experimental jet pack and becomes caught between gangsters, government agents and Nazi spies. Timothy Dalton co-stars in this blend of pulp adventure, superhero action and period serial-inspired storytelling.
