Wonder Woman (1975–1979)

This American superhero series, based on the DC Comics character and starring Lynda Carter, follows Diana Prince as she leaves the hidden island of the Amazons to fight for justice in the outside world. The first season is set during World War II, while later seasons shift to a contemporary setting as Wonder Woman works undercover for a government agency. Blending action, adventure and light science-fiction elements, the series explores themes of heroism, identity and moral responsibility.
