Directed by George P. Cosmatos, Rambo: First Blood Part II stars Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo, sent back to Vietnam on a covert mission connected to American POWs. Richard Crenna, Charles Napier and Julia Nickson co-star in a military action film built around jungle warfare, rescue, betrayal and one-man-army combat. The film continues the Rambo series with a stronger shift from survival thriller toward 1980s war-action spectacle.
