Candyman: Day of the Dead (1999) is the third entry in the Candyman franchise, with Tony Todd reprising his iconic role as the hook-handed spirit of vengeance. Set in Los Angeles during the Day of the Dead festival, the story follows an artist (Donna D’Errico) who is targeted by Candyman as he seeks to continue his bloody legend. Combining urban legend horror, slasher killings, and supernatural folklore, the film leans into gore and cult exploitation while expanding the mythos beyond Chicago.
