Directed by McG and starring Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Anton Yelchin and Moon Bloodgood, Terminator Salvation is set in post-apocalyptic 2018 after Judgment Day has devastated civilization. John Connor fights with the human Resistance against Skynet and its Terminator forces while the mysterious Marcus Wright becomes central to a mission involving the young Kyle Reese. Unlike the earlier films, the story takes place primarily during the future war between humanity and the machines.
