Robert Rodriguez’s Hypnotic (2023) is a twisting psychological thriller starring Ben Affleck as a detective drawn into a surreal conspiracy involving mind control, memory manipulation, and a series of impossible bank heists. Blending neo-noir mystery with Rodriguez’s slick visual flair, the film plays like a collision of Inception and Deja Vu — a paranoid, reality-bending thriller where nothing is as it seems.
