Peaky Blinders (2013–2022)

Set in post-World War I Birmingham, Peaky Blinders follows the rise of the Shelby family and their criminal empire in interwar Britain. Created by Steven Knight, the series combines organized crime, political tension and period drama with performances by Cillian Murphy, Helen McCrory and Tom Hardy. The series became one of the most internationally successful British television productions of the 2010s and is inspired by the historical Peaky Blinders gang.
