Directed by Fede Álvarez and produced by Sam Raimi, Robert Tapert and Bruce Campbell, Evil Dead is a remake / reimagining of Sam Raimi’s 1981 horror film. Jane Levy stars as Mia, with Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci and Jessica Lucas in a cabin-in-the-woods horror story built around demonic possession, the Book of the Dead and escalating graphic violence. The film connects the Evil Dead franchise with modern extreme horror, splatter effects and occult survival terror.
