A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) is a South Korean horror film directed by Kim Jee-woon. The story follows two sisters who return home after time in a psychiatric hospital and encounter disturbing events involving their father and stepmother. The film draws on the traditional Korean folktale Janghwa Hongryeon and became one of the most internationally recognized Korean horror films of the 2000s.
