Directed by Ti West, X (2022) is a retro-styled slasher horror film following a group of young filmmakers who travel to a remote Texas farm to shoot an adult movie before becoming targets of a violent elderly couple. Starring Mia Goth and Jenna Ortega, the film combines exploitation cinema aesthetics, rural horror atmosphere and graphic violence with themes of aging, sexuality and voyeurism.
