The Lawnmower Man (1992)
Directed by Brett Leonard, The Lawnmower Man stars Pierce Brosnan as scientist Lawrence Angelo, who uses experimental virtual-reality technology and drugs to increase the intelligence of gardener Jobe Smith, played by Jeff Fahey. As Jobe’s mental abilities develop far beyond expectations, the experiment gives him increasingly dangerous powers and draws him deeper into the virtual world.
