Produced by DreamWorks Animation and directed by Steve Hickner and Simon J. Smith, Bee Movie stars Jerry Seinfeld as a bee who leaves the hive and discovers the human world. The story follows his decision to take legal action against humans for exploiting bees.

Barry B. Benson, a bee just graduated from college, is disillusioned at his lone career choice: making honey. On a special trip outside the hive, Barry's life is saved by Vanessa, a florist in New York City.
